Over the weekend we took to the streets of Soho to ask members of the public how much they reckon we’d collected in coppers (and a few silver coins thrown in), towards our fundraiser #Art4ChangeHaiti to teach art to children in Haiti this summer.
The money raised goes towards buying art material, as well as the post-Haiti materials to have the designs printed onto merchandise which will be sold, and the money goes towards getting children living in camps into schools.
We used the “Magic Machine” courtesy of Metro Bank to have the money counted. Lucky we didn’t break the magic machine which struggled to recognise quite a bit of foreign currency mixed in with our pennies!
Thank you to everyone who took part over the weekend!… Did you guess correctly? Remember you can still donate online www.gofundme.com/art4changehaiti
